RAINWATER PIPES

- Check that drain connection is in correct position and ensure any remedial work necessary is carried out.
- Install pipes using a spirit level to check for vertical alignment.

- Eared Sockets
- Pipes fixed at collar position only - no intermediate fixings necessary.
- If no shoe is used, a collar bracket should be used at the base of the pipe.
- Plain Collar Downpipes
- Fixing brackets should be fitted under the collar (and at extra components). No intermediate bracket is required.
- Eared Sockets
- Stainless steel hammer screws should be used for fixing into masonry.
- Joints should be dry.
- If pipes are fitted over expansion joints, a slot will have to be put in the bracket.
