A Fresh New Look For Chase High School

Chase High School is a year-long building project with a budget of £4million, comprising of a new three-storey classroom block, complete with all services and external works, this comprised of a new three-storey classroom block, complete with all services and external works, this comprised of redevelopment of the external playground and netball courts as well as a full refurbishment of the science areas and main reception.

Guttercrest provided the project with a modern and fresh look which included the supply of: Feature Fascia’s fitted both vertically and horizontally to the “fin”, Arrowhead Interlocking Secret Fix Cladding to all Soffits and Vertical fin.

Ali-Fabs supplied Crest Copings to the perimeter of the building and Windypods supplied 3mm thick bespoke feature window surrounds and infill cassette panels.

The project has provided an innovative yet practical school, renovations and refurbishments the inspire students and staff alike that has brought Chase High School vision to life and will by 2023 be able to offer an additional 300 children an education.

Southend MP Sir David Amess said “The three-storey building will be a great asset to the school but more importantly, it will provide a fresh environment and extra space in which our children can learn.  I would like to commend the work of everyone involved in this project.”

These products were manufactured in Guttercrest’s Shropshire headquarters, with 200,000 sq ft of space dedicated to manufacturing high quality Aluminium products.
