London store gets stylish new look from Guttercrest

A new and prestigious London store is using bespoke picture frame aluminium fascia and coping, which were manufactured and supplied by Guttercrest to provide a stylish finishing touch to the building’s grand façade.

Situated in central London, overlooking one of the prime thoroughfares, Princes House is a 1920s office building of approximately 4,280 sq ft which has been converted to provide retail space on the ground floor and serviced apartments in the eight remaining storeys.

As a building of merit in a conservation area, it was important to enhance the quality of the existing external façade which was achieved with bespoke feature bronze fascia and coping from Guttercrest.

The fascia fitted above the ground floor doors and windows includes a unique picture frame detail manufactured using pressed aluminium and finished in RAL 8014 matt.

Concealed aluminium eaves gutters have been used in conjunction with a wrap-around aluminium fascia and soffit system. The column casings have been used for a seamless finish and are manufactured from 2mm thick aluminium, which is finished with a matching bronze PPC coating.
